Hello and thank you for your interest in 2023 Super Bloom tryouts & Community Mixer! We're so excited to build on the momentum Super Bloom gained last season and to continue to grow our ultimate community.
TRYOUT & MIXER INFO
Whether you want to try out for the 2023 Super Bloom roster, or you're just looking to play some good ultimate and see what Super Bloom is all about, we welcome you to attend any of the following tryout events! All listed dates are open tryouts to encourage community participation regardless of roster intent. If you plan to try out for a roster spot, it is not required to attend all tryout dates; however, it is highly encouraged to attend as many as you can to give the coaches more opportunities to see you play and assess your skills.
Please note that while the WUL has yet to decide on an official policy for rostered players, all Super Bloom tryout events are open to women, non-binary folks, and trans people of all genders.
Tryout #1/Community Mixer: Saturday, November 19, 2022
Tryout #2: Saturday, December 3, 2022
Tryout #3: Saturday, December 10, 2022
Tryout #4: Sunday, December 11, 2022
All tryout events will be hosted at Kearny Mesa Rec Center, Field 8, from 9AM - 12PM.
Please use this carpool spreadsheet if you need a ride or are willing to drive others. Be sure to double-check that you're filling out your info in the correct tab(s); they're split by tryout dates!
COVID-19 UPDATES
We kindly ask that all players who attend our tryout events are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e. have received a primary series of vaccines). WUL policy requires that all rostered players are up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccines; at this time, that means that all rostered players must at least receive their primary series of vaccines, plus the latest Omicron booster shot (if eligible) by the first game of the season.

While the 2023 WUL Schedule is yet to be determined, here is a high-level overview of the season schedule:
November-December 2022: Tryouts
January 2023: Rosters set
~Late January to April 2023: Regular season
~April to May 2023: Post-season
