ANGELA WELLS | PRESIDENT (she/her)

Since 2004, Angela has been a player, coach, and cheerleader for the ultimate community in San Diego. With a specific interest in promoting the sport among female, nonbinary, and trans athletes in Southern California, she works hard to create well-rounded, competitive teams of players and coaches from different backgrounds and experience levels.

BRENDA STEVENS | VICE PRESIDENT (she/her)

Brenda’s joined the ultimate community at UC San Diego, where she not only honed her skills, but also forged lifelong friendships that have become an integral part of her life. Now, as a member of the Board, she is excited to support Super Bloom’s initiatives and mission—ensuring that ultimate frisbee continues to thrive in the Greater San Diego area. Brenda also serves on the Board of Directors for &Mother, to create supportive environments where women can achieve their professional goals while embracing motherhood, and the WUL, further contributing to the sport’s development and outreach.

TENISE LENTA | TREASURER (she/her)

Tenise kicked off her Ultimate career in 2001 with the National Champion UC San Diego Psychos. She quickly fell in love with this unique sport that demands integrity, passion, cooperation, conflict resolution, determination, and commitment. Tenise is excited to share her expertise supporting the continued growth of this sport as Super Bloom's Treasurer.

BRITTANY CABRIALES | BOARD MEMBER (she/her)

Brittany is another UCSD product who has played ultimate in the Southern California scene since 2009. After playing on multiple teams that attended Club Nationals, Brittany played one year with Super Bloom in 2022. Now, she’s ready to give back to the community and ensure more young players can access the resources, experiences, and opportunities that ultimate can offer.

 

TIFFANIE GALLO | BOARD MEMBER (she/her)

Tiff started playing ultimate in college at Dartmouth. Her first frisbee retirement didn't take—so after law school, Tiff returned to play club in San Diego (both for Safari and Wildfire), before retiring again to coach LA women's club team Rampage and then UCLA BLU. Tiff splits her time between San Diego (where she lives) and LA (where she works and coaches). As a board member, Tiff will help oversee governance.

GOLDY HERBON | BOARD MEMBER (she/her)

Goldy Herbon's journey in ultimate frisbee began more than two decades ago at UC San Diego where she quickly developed a passion for the game and its core values of teamwork, spirit, and fair play. Goldy cherishes the strong bonds that she has formed within the Ultimate community, and is enthusiastic about fostering youth participation and promoting inclusivity by sharing the collective Youth & Outreach Committee's knowledge of the game.

CORINNE PISACANE | BOARD MEMBER (she/her)

“Baco” started playing ultimate at UC Santa Cruz in 1987. After college, she played with teams all over the West Coast—including the Bay Area, Salt Lake City, Colorado, and San Diego. In 1994, she won a national title with Bay Area Felix. Baco also coached the UCSD women's team in 2006. She is currently retired from ultimate (too many injuries), but is looking forward to re-engaging with the ultimate community by serving on the Board of Directors for San Diego Super Bloom.
